We began the morning with 20 minutes of SSR. Then Ms. Larussa took roll and stamped our three printed copies of the poem. She went over the plan Ms. Edwards left her and described that we were going to have three 10 minute rotations to analyze the poem to find three literary devices. This was done with the people sitting in your table. After the rotations, we handed back the poems to its author and began to discuss each poem as a group. Our homework is to edit the poem if necessary and have three paragraphs explaining why we chose to integrate three literary devices into our poem. We should bring our three paragraphs, the three papers analyzed by our peers, and a final draft tomorrow. We will also be reciting our poems tomorrow as well. Be prepared because it should not be longer than 2 minutes. Good luck!
