-SSR
-Work my little Dragons! (Basically just work on our POP-UP story book.)

The homework is just Blog#17 due by Friday 8pm. and the POP-UP storybook which is due at the end of class on Thursday.

DA HERROOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! I’m the scribe for the week guys! So bear with me because I am bearly starting to figure how this thing works! I ap0logize for putting this up late i got home a little late guys. So what we did was:

-First sang a late happy birthday for Ariana!

-Welcomed Dina Sambo as our new addition to the NORTH HOUSE family. ( CHRIS D:!! cousin love

-SSR

-Introduction to blog #17

-Revisited Pilgrim Pop ups and the Specs

-also got our storybook partners

-Handed out the Pilgrim WS

-and we worked like the little dragons we are! (Oh, BTW guys HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEARS!)

The only homework was the blog#17 due by Friday 8pm and the storybook which is due at the end of class on Thursday. Good luck guys!

After SSR, Edwards gave us the remainder of the class to work on our wiring piece. Today was our last day to work on it in class before it is due on Tuesday. Hope your guys piece is wonderful! Thats all we did today so have a great day (:

Mini lesson: the reflective essay

Instead of doing the regular SSR today, we were handed back our PSAT by Mrs. Hunzker. I hope everyone did well. And, sorry if I misspelled her name.

After knowing our scores, Edwards gave us a mini lesson, which was a quick 11 minutes, this beat yesterdays mini lesson of 14 minutes. The mini lesson was about what is needed for a reflective essay and how to keep on topic and make it compelling. When the mini lesson ended we had free time to correct and work on our writing piece.

Mini lesson: introduction to the rubric

Hello North House! It’s Danielle and I will be your scribe for the week! (:

We started off our Monday mourning with reading for 30 minutes and then introduce the scribe. Then Gina gave some few ASB announcements. Here is a list of the following:

We need TWO couches for the Junior class PowderPuff, so if you are interested let Gina know
Junior class movie night is on January 18th, Cars 2 is showing so make sure to go and support the Junior class
If you want extra credit, make sure you go attend Poetry Out Loud and support the four Juniors involved!

After the ASB announcements, Mrs. Edwards started the mini writing workshop lesson on how to start an essay and what is needed. The lesson was only an impressive 14 minutes long and still informative. Great job Edwards (:

For the remainder of the class we had time to work on our writing workshop pieces. DON’T FORGET THEY ARE DUE THE 17TH! Have a great Monday
