After some quiet reading time, Ms. Jones handed out the prologue quiz which none of us seemed to be prepared for except Victoria, haha. After the quiz was collected, we watched a Shakespeare video brought to us by Standard Deviants and took notes on the content. I’m sure most of us lost feeling in our hands after that intense note taking session! But, uh, yeah! That’s pretty much all we did today.

Alright. We started our morning with the usual SSR, which is the only time you will hear our house in silence. Then, writing workshop stuff was passed back to us by a few lovely helpers. Edwards informed us that if you are not satisfied with your writing workshop grade for first semester, you could revamp it for your second semester writing workshop grade. Our pop up books were finally turned in and graded as we watched two of the Canterbury Tales that we took notes on at least one of the character’s tales to prove that we were paying attention.

EXTRA CREDIT OPPORTUNITY! There are two of the fourteen tales in our literature books and if you read one of the tales and complete the blue margin note questions, it’ll count as one extra credit. I believe you can do both for two extra credit points, but ask her for further clarification.

I’m sure you are all glad to hear that this is our last week dealing with the middle ages! Woot woot! I know I am… But yeah. (: We will now be moving onto the renaissance.

Last but not least, we will be having a quiz tomorrow on the prologue for the Canterbury Tales and you CAN use notes. So, I suggest studying for that and writing some stuff down since you don’t want to tank your grade in the first week of the semester.
