Mini lesson: introduction to the rubric

Hello North House! It’s Danielle and I will be your scribe for the week! (:

We started off our Monday mourning with reading for 30 minutes and then introduce the scribe. Then Gina gave some few ASB announcements. Here is a list of the following:

We need TWO couches for the Junior class PowderPuff, so if you are interested let Gina know
Junior class movie night is on January 18th, Cars 2 is showing so make sure to go and support the Junior class
If you want extra credit, make sure you go attend Poetry Out Loud and support the four Juniors involved!

After the ASB announcements, Mrs. Edwards started the mini writing workshop lesson on how to start an essay and what is needed. The lesson was only an impressive 14 minutes long and still informative. Great job Edwards (:

For the remainder of the class we had time to work on our writing workshop pieces. DON’T FORGET THEY ARE DUE THE 17TH! Have a great Monday
